Stem Cell

Undifferentiated cells that can be differentiated into specific tissue cells as needed
01

Embryonic stem cell

Fertilized eggs are called embryonic stem cells up to 14 days of fertilization of the sperm and egg. Afterward, it is classified as a fetus. Although these cells are Pluripotent and can be differentiated into all tissues, the use is banned due to control and moral issues
02

Induced Pluripotent stem cell

Induced pluripotent stem cells are made from dedifferentiating differentiated somatic stem cells into the step before the differentiation. Due to the high possibility of causing tumors, these are used at laboratories for research purpose only.
03

Adult stem cell

Adult stem cells can only be extracted from bone marrow, blood, fat and umbilical cord blood. These can be used to supply new cells to replace cells that die due to external shock or aging. These cells are further divided into Mesenchymal stem cell & Hematopoietic stem cell.

Mesenchymal stem cell

Also known as stromal stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells are found in the bone marrow, fat (especially belly), peripheral blood (few), and joints (extremely few), and can be differentiated into various tissue cells such as bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and fat through spreading and differentiation.

There is 1 stromal stem cell in every 250,000 cells in the bone marrow of an ordinary 25-year old adult. This proportion decreases with age.

Hematopoietic stem cell

Hematopoietic stem cells are found mainly in the bone marrow. They can create blood cells such as white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets through spreading and differentiation, and exist in a small amount in the blood. In addition to blood cells, it can differentiate into various tissue cells such as bones, muscles, nerve cells, endothelial cells, and cells of liver, lung, stomach and skin.

There is 1 hematopoietic stem cell in every 10,000 – 15,000 cells in the bone marrow, and this proportion does not decrease with age.

Stem cell

In order to have clinical PRP effect, the existence of stem cell is essential.

Growth factor

It promotes the growth and differentiation of various cells and moves and induces stem cells to the necessary places.

White blood cell

White blood cells, consisting of granulocytes, monocytes and lymphocytes, are in charge of immunity by providing defense and attack on intruding organisms.

Platelet

Platelets are found in the peripheral blood, but are mainly produced in the bone marrow. They are responsible for the hemostasis process, contain healing α-granules, and can stimulate stem cells.
